Kippenberger & Friends: Martin Kippenberger on his 60th birthday is a celebration of provocative and prolific German artist Martin Kippenberger. This collection of 25 conversations with the artist’s friends, fellow artists, curators and gallerists uncovers the Kippenberger myth. Personal and intimate recollections from the artist’s peers (through text contributions and over 50 photographs) provide an in-depth look at the artist’s life and his contribution to postwar German art.
